“When I was applying for college, I skimmed through pamphlets for schools that my guidance counselor thought I might be accepted in to. There was no “dream school”, no goal to work towards.  For this reason, Dr. Vick became critical to me as I applied to college and for scholarships. Initially, I was afraid I would not be accepted. However, Dr. Vick showed me I could do it and helped me along the way.

I am now on track to graduate my honors college, magna cum laude, and am thankful to have Dr. Vick to thank for it. I think about the change that he has made in my life and the constant help he has offered to countless other students. I hope that every other student and person will have the same opportunity to have someone believe in them and show them what they are capable of.”
